The Water Prayer Ceremony

A rite of blessing, merging, and release

Before You Begin

Bring water you can hold: a glass, a bowl, a vessel of any kind. Place your hands around it. Breathe. Arrive. You do not need to know how to do this. You only need to be willing to be here.

Phase One

Arrival and Recognition

Begin with three slow breaths. On the third exhale, bring your full attention to the water in your hands, and speak:

"I am here. I am with you. I recognize you as living, as intelligent, as a holy gift of the Creator."

Phase Two

The Blessing

Speak these words with your whole self, not only your voice.

"I bless you with love. I bless you with gratitude. I bless you with the memory of your origin in the Creator's first love."

[Remaining words of this prayer, from the ministry literature]

Phase Three

The Merging

Close your eyes. Breathe into your hands. Enter into the water with your awareness.

"Before the Creator, I bring myself to these waters completely. All that I am, all that I carry, all that I do."

[Remaining words of this prayer, from the ministry literature]

Phase Four

The Offering

Offer into the water whatever you are ready to release. Speak it aloud or in silence.

"I give this to you now. Not to be lost, but to be transformed."

[Remaining words of this prayer, from the ministry literature]

Phase Five

The Receiving

Open. You have poured. Now the water pours into you. Open your heart to receive.

"I receive what you carry for me. I receive your clarity, your peace, your remembrance."

[Remaining words of this prayer, from the ministry literature]

Phase Six

The Seal and Return

Return to ordinary life carrying the frequency of what you have just received.

"Thank you. Thank you for receiving me. I carry your blessing with me now into every part of my life."

[Remaining words of this prayer, from the ministry literature]

When the ceremony is complete, pour the blessed water into the earth, a plant, or your own body. Blessed water is not waste. It is seed. Return it to where it can grow.
